In this patient, it was necessary to cure the periodontal disease, to install dental implants in the area of the side teeth where her molars were missing. With porcelain bridges and prosthetics on implants laterally, the patient was able to chew smoothly again.
In terms of aesthetics, when smiling there was a high smile line showing much of the palate as well as sparse teeth with large empty triangles between them. To correct this, cosmetic periodontal surgery was performed as well as highly esthetic thin porcelain veneers on the front teeth to improve their shape and color.
All interventions were performed with respect for natural tissues and overall natural aesthetics, with the aim of the end result being natural, healthy and well-cared for teeth and gums.
This is a case where almost all the molars in the mouth are missing and the remaining teeth require evaluation to decide which ones will be extracted and which ones will heal and be used to make fixed porcelain bridges. Modern mobile prostheses with hidden connections to the bridges are attached to the porcelain bridges, making it almost impossible to notice the transition from bridge to prosthesis.
With this type of dental reconstruction, patients fully regain their chewing function, as well as aesthetics and self-confidence.
In this patient, there is asymmetry of the pink part, ie. of the gingiva above the teeth, which was previously treated surgically, and the “after” picture shows the appearance of the gingiva immediately after laser contouring.
With the laser, even the smallest flaws in the shape of the gingiva are corrected, giving it its perfect shape.
This young patient has a distinctly high smile line, because when she smiles she exposes a large part of the gingiva above her natural teeth. To solve this aesthetic obstacle, we performed a surgical correction of the gums revealing her natural teeth that were covered by periodontal tissues that had grown over the teeth. With this intervention, the true proportion of the teeth, previously hidden by the excessive periodontal tissues, can finally be seen, and the smile has regained its natural beauty.
This is a complex condition in which, due to a long-ago traffic accident, there is an intrusion of the front permanent tooth. During its extraction, several delicate surgical interventions were required with the implantation of artificial bone and grafting of the gingiva in order to obtain a natural shape, and the prosthetic work will be able to look natural and hide the lack of the tooth.
The high smile line is sometimes asymmetrical. This means that when smiling, a large part of the gingiva is visible on one side, but not on the other side. Images from the analysis of the photos before the intervention are shown, during which the appropriate method of work is chosen in each zone, so that the end result is an even and harmonious display of the teeth and gingiva on both sides.

When many teeth have already been extracted, the rest are damaged and in poor condition, our principle is a thorough diagnosis and placement of the patient on the scale of complexity according to which an individual detailed therapy plan is drawn up in which the entire dentition is repaired in stages. Most often, several dental disciplines must be involved in these people, so that in the end the smile will be adorned with beautiful teeth whose function will be easily acceptable and natural for the patient, as shown in these pictures before and after the treatment.

Dear Doctor Daniela,
I’m writing to thank you so much for getting my life back to normal again. It is very difficult to function when you are missing all the teeth from your upper jaw and on top of that the mobile prosthesis gives you an allergic reaction and even worse you cannot taste the food because the entire palate is covered by the prosthesis. After consulting three implantologists, I was disappointed that there was no solution for my case. All the doctors told me that the sinus lifting operation must be done first and then the implants should be inserted. Fortunately, a friend of mine referred me to you and you encouraged me and said that you would insert the implants without any previous procedure and after that I have a fixed solution with porcelain teeth. You really nailed it. I am a different person now.
I don’t feel my teeth as a foreign body at all and I can enjoy food and life again. I want to encourage all patients who have the same problems as me to decide on placing implants. The intervention itself is not difficult and the swelling is small and passes in 3-4 days. It really pays to endure it because the benefit from it is really great.
