High-quality porcelain laminates

What are high-quality porcelain laminates?

Highly aesthetic porcelain laminates are thin porcelain covers that are placed on the front of the teeth to correct the shape, color or position of the teeth. These laminates can create a natural and attractive look to your smile.

Conditions for planning high-quality porcelain laminates

Before we start planning the porcelain veneers, the following conditions must be met:

  • Healthy teeth

  • Perfectly healthy gingiva

  • Presence of all teeth in the lateral region

  • A solid bite

  • Absence of parafunction, such as bruxism (teeth grinding)

If any of these criteria are not met, appropriate remediation is required. For example, cavities, gingivitis or missing teeth should be treated before the procedure begins. In patients with bruxism, worn or chipped teeth, a special prosthetic analysis and correction of the bite is required, with protection of the veneers with a night guard.

Procedure and options

Porcelain veneers are made with a thickness of 0.2mm to 1mm, depending on the position and size of the natural teeth. Minimal tooth scraping is performed on the enamel, and the process takes 7 working days in 2-3 visits.

Before making the final veneers, a model is made in wax (wax up) and trial veneers (mock up) to see how they will look. These trial veneers allow you to get a full picture and make corrections before the final procedure.

Lumineers

Lumineers are popular porcelain veneers that do not require the scraping of tooth substance. They are made in two visits, without pain and anesthesia, and are completely reversible. Our Lumineers smiles have a proven durability of up to 20 years.
