Front tooth implant

Front tooth implant, what does it mean for you?

Front teeth, which are the most visible in the mouth, represent a significant challenge in implantology and prosthetics. The modern implantology systems that we use at VEGA offer highly aesthetic solutions for implants in the front, aesthetic region as well.

When placing an implant in place of a front tooth, special attention is paid to the surrounding soft tissues, known as pink esthetics. A periodontal approach is key to a successful implant-prosthetic restoration that looks natural and harmonious with the remaining teeth.

Our implantology systems offer zirconium abutments – a white material that prevents transparency of the metal implant abutment under the gingiva. Without this, the gingiva can appear in shades of gray. With zirconium, this transparency is avoided, and the result is a natural appearance with white-pink tones, similar to natural teeth.

The pink esthetic around the implant crown must be of sufficient thickness and shape to look just like natural teeth. To achieve this, knowledge of gingival grafting and collagen membrane implantation techniques is required, which allows for the resolution of severe bone and gingival defects.

Implantation of front teeth can be complicated by defects in the bone where the implant is to be placed. At VEGA, we use different techniques for bone grafting and artificial bone implantation, which helps to restore the lost bone volume and its shape, necessary for the formation of the surrounding soft tissues, especially the gingiva above and around the implant.

With these advanced techniques, we provide excellent aesthetic results and functional solutions for anterior dental implants.
